Chateau Haut Brion

Chateau Haut Brion

The Chateau Haut Brion dates back to year 1525. It is said about Chatueau Haut Brion that it is the only American-owned first growth and definitely Bordeaux’s first globally acclaimed wine making estate. With the passage of time it kept on growing at a fast pace. Since 1525, Chateau Haut Brion has grown in stature. The rate of growth is virtually amazing. Not only that, it has even made it’s presence felt across the globe. In the contemporary phase of 1960’s Haut Brion understandably, was said to be the first of the big and great growths to come out with the new ideas of stainless steel fermentation vats.

It is a tasty and excellent wine.

Chateau Haut Brion 1988

It is much less forward than the 1990 vintage, with a more focused pencil, chocolate, mint, violets and nose of black currant with a very long spicy finish .

Chateau Haut Brion 1985

It has a haunting nose of mint, bricks and chocolate, odd and brilliant. It is supple, without the complexity of some other vintages with velvety texture.

Chateau Haut Brion 1982

Chateau Haut Brion 1982 contains a gamey, spicy nose, properly evolved with tertiary and undergrowth features. However, the important point to be taken into consideration is that balance plays a very important role.
